Free Autodesk Alias Download

There’s great news to everyone who might be interested in automotive modeling. You can now download Autodesk Alias for absolutely FREE!! Autodesk has finally released a free version called Alias Learning Edition.

Previously you could access it only through a 30 day trial, an educational version, or a full on $16,000/year commercial subscription. Now, however, you can access the highest tier versions, both the Alias AutoStudio and the VRED Professional for free.

From the initial impression, the only restriction seems to be that it can be used only for non-commercial, personal learning purposes, with limitations for exports (Alias .wire file only), watermarks for VRED, and 1 year license limit.
